Update on Mr. French

Down 20lbs in approx 10 weeks and getting in better shape every week!

More importantly Daniel is still "living a little" and by that I mean he's not eating boiled chicken and broccoli!

Daniel has quickly learned that if he slips it's not the end of the world and he does a great job in righting the ship!

If you see Daniel out at the campgrounds give this guy an "atta boy"!

Damn proud of the work he's putting in! 💪

🥎250N ATHLETE MILESTONE ALERT! 🥎

Huge shoutout to this little powerhouse!

Ava is proof that big things come in small packages and that hard work pays off!

Ava spent her winter grinding it out 3x a week with a mix of weight lifting and working on explosive & rotational movements. Ava worked hard, never complained (not verbally anyway..although I may have occasionally received "a look") and impressed with being on time for all of her training sessions!
(Yes, Greg = shots fired)

Mix Ava's new strength gains with her Landry baseball bloodline and toss in a sprinkle of teenage girl sass and 💥 💥💥‼️

Ava hit her FIRST home-run last night!

On deck..rocking the runway at Grand March!

Congrats Ava!

Caveat emptor! (Buyer beware ☠️)

I preach to all of my clients the importance of tracking their macros & reading nutrition labels to avoid potential pitfalls.

This "protein cookie" ad popped up in my stories recently so I've decided to make it a teachable moment.

It’s easy to get caught up in the "Protein" label, but looking at the actual breakdown on this ad is a great reminder to always check the fine print.

While 17g of protein sounds like a win, it’s actually the third highest macro in the cookie:

• Total Fat: 25g
• Total Carbs: 22g
• Protein: 17g

When a "protein" snack has more fat and carbs than actual protein, the math starts to look more like a standard treat than a recovery tool. At 350 calories, you're definitely getting a much better calorie profile vs the Crumbl comparison, but it’s still a calorie-dense choice where fat is the primary driver.

Choose wisely!

Client shout = Darien Gambill

It’s always a bittersweet day when a great training program comes to an end. I truly hate seeing Darien Gambill wrap up her training sessions because I have enjoyed watching her grind it out & our conversations.

Having known both of Darien's parents for years and even living right next door to her mom when I was a kid, it’s been a surreal experience to train with her. (And a friendly reminder that I'm not exactly young anymore)

Darien definitely brought the sass EVERY SINGLE session and when I say sass, I mean she cussed me. Unapologetically and often. ☠️

One of my favorite things about Darien is her love for cheesy movie montages and 80's music & movies, but specifically all things Sylvester Stallone. The girl has been raised right!

The gym is going to be a lot quieter without our banter and movie debates. I’m incredibly proud of the hard work she put in, though I’ll admit I’m secretly hoping all her home gym equipment breaks and she eats a few too many pizzas and puts on a little weight just so she’s forced to come back and train with me again! 🍕😉

Thank you for the trust Darien!

Client Testimony: Reclaiming Strength and Vitality 💪 Debbi Kendall

"I can honestly say that signing up for the SilverFit class at 250N Fitness is one of the best investments I’ve ever made for myself! Since starting this journey, my quality of life has improved drastically.

The functional changes are what I notice most. Stairs are now a breeze. I'm now carrying boxes up and down steps without a second thought!

To push myself, I’ve even started wearing a 15 lb weighted vest to do 10 rounds of stairs, and I can do it easily! I’ve gained the mobility to get up and down off the floor with no struggle, and my endurance has soared; I can now power walk three miles with ease.

The physical results speak for themselves:

⬇️ Weight Loss: Down 10 lbs.

🔥 Inches Lost: Several inches gone across my body.

💪 Strength: Significant increases across all daily

Having this new foundation of strength is making a world of difference. I am so much stronger and more capable than when I started.

Thank you, 250N Fitness, for everything!"

🔥MILESTONE ACHIEVED!🔥

Daniel French just absolutely crushed his first milestone: 15lbs DOWN in only 5 WEEKS! 📉💪

What makes this achievement even more incredible is that Daniel is a very busy man, balancing an intense professional life, family and a new found commitment to his health.

It actually took us over a year to finally get him in here! Our crazy schedules just could not align, but when Daniel set his mind on getting control of his health, we finally locked it in. (He’s proof that making that commitment is the hardest step.)

Our sessions have been packed with work and lots of discussion about living in a caloric deficit and making sound food choices. (Daniel will be the first to admit correcting nutrition is a lifestyle change, but well worth the effort)

The first 5 weeks is just the beginning! So if you see Daniel out and about, please congratulate him on his incredible hard work and show this guy some ❤️ and support! 💪

Sometimes I have to take a second and just look around. After a lifetime of working for someone else, being able to call this my office every morning is something I’ll never take for granted.

Building this space and this brand wasn't just about the equipment; it was about creating a culture where we actually get things done and produce stronger, healthier humans!

I’m incredibly grateful for the clients who trust me with their goals and for the chance to do what I love full-time.

Thank You to ALL!

💪

UPDATE:

Project 15lb gain/loss complete!

Recap. I put on 15lbs in 6 weeks just to turn around and start the process of losing it.

I hit my goal this morning 2 days shy of 5 weeks.

Here's the weekly breakdown:

Week 1 = starting weight 211.8
Week 2 = 204.4 (3 days of headaches from reducing carb intake)
Week 3 = 200.8
Week 4 = 200.6 (very discouraged to only drop .2 of a lb, but stalls happen)
Week 5 = 196.5

How did I do it?

Workout 5x a week. (4 lifting days, 1 HIIT)

I consumed less calories than I burned.

I weighed all of my food & tracked EVERY single item I ate via the Fitbit 6 app.

CALORIC DEFICIT works! Period. End of story.

Eat less. Burn more. Repeat.

During these 5 weeks there were some slip ups. Cookies, cake, fatty red meat. However, if you play the game right you can survive those slip ups and still lose weight!

Today I will celebrate my hitting my goal with a giant cheeseburger & beer for lunch and maybe a pizza for dinner.

Saturday will start a new goal to drop down to 190lbs. I anticipate this next 6.5lbs to be a harder goal to hit as I've already picked the low hanging fruit and the weight drop will be much slower.

The grind continues.

***********************************************
Why I gained 15lbs just to show you how to lose it.

I want to prove caloric deficit is the ultimate driver of weight loss regardless of what you eat. I decided 6 weeks ago to put on some extra weight INTENTIONALLY.

I tracked every gram, hit my surplus, and watched the scale climb. (I'm not going to lie, eating the extra food was a blast, but I feel like a slug)

Now it's time to flip the switch. I have calculated my maintenance macros and will work daily to maintain a caloric deficit.

I'm sharing this information with you because I want to take the mystery out of weight loss.

💪You don’t need magic supplements or extreme restriction.

💪You need a plan & accurate data.

💪Most importantly you need the discipline to execute.

My weigh in day will be Sunday mornings and you are all welcome to follow along as I will post results via 250N Fitness story.

Below my starting weight for reference.

*In order to stay on track, I'll pay a $10 bounty to anyone who catches me eating donuts. I got waaay too comfortable eating those fat pills*
