LFYAA BASKETBALL

Good morning, LF Family!

I wanted to share an update with everyone about this season’s basketball schedule, including registration, evaluations, and county team tryouts.

🏀 Registration
Registration will open September 1st.

This year, the season will begin during the first week of November, instead of our usual December start. This gives our players an extra month of practices, development, and scrimmages before games begin!

LF Basketball is a volunteer-run league, and our success depends on everyone working together.

We welcome all volunteers and encourage anyone who is able to help in any way. Whether it’s coaching, helping with practices, games, or other league needs, every bit of help makes a difference for our young athletes.

I’m looking forward to another great season and hope everyone is ready to get started!

Basketball time is approaching!! 🏀🏀🏀

We have just heard the heartbreaking news that one of our beloved LFYAA parent and coaches, Justin Lauenroth, has been diagnosed with leukemia.
Justin has been such an important part of our soccer family, and we are deeply saddened to hear that he is facing this difficult fight. We are sending Justin and his family all of our love, strength, and support during this time.
Justin, your positive attitude, strength, and determination are an inspiration to all of us. We are behind you every step of the way and cannot wait to see you back home and back on the field with us.
Hopefully you have your skeleton mascot by your side, all dressed up and cheering you on!

As many of you know, my brother Justin was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He is currently at Johns Hopkins Cancer Center, where he just completed a 7-day, around-the-clock chemotherapy treatment.
