I've been coming to the Boundary Waters since childhood — paddling, camping, and exploring a world that feels completely its own.

There's something about this place that makes kids fall in love with the natural world — a gift worth protecting.

Sulfide-ore copper mining is being proposed in the Boundary Waters watershed, threatening clean water, wildlife, Tribal treaty rights, and an outdoor economy that reaches far beyond Minnesota. Once it's gone, it's gone.
