El Dorado Sporting Clays is a family owned and operated business working to serve you and yours a fun and unforgettable, outdoor, experience! We are located in the beautiful country side of Linn, San Manuel, TX (North Edinburg). Our facility sits on 130+ acres of natural terrain and foliage that not only serves as a gorgeous scenic view, but is home to a variety of local wildlife. My name is Aissa

Vasquez, I am one of the owners and operators of El Dorado Sporting Clays, along with my partner, Jonas Hernandez. To provide you with a sense of who we are, I’d like to provide a little information about myself, our motives, and the population we serve. Vasquez and sister to Brenna A. & Anthony E. I have a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Services with a concentration in Addiction Studies, obtained at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. With my education, I planned to pursue a profession in mental health counseling and advocating for the civil rights of individuals with disabilities. Unfortunately, shortly after receiving my Masters degree at the age of 24, I fell ill. I began to lose my sense of sight and ability to walk without assistance. My doctor advised me to undergo an MRI where the results showed that I had brain and spinal scarring/damage on the protective tissue lining my nerves. I was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease of Multiple Sclerosis, in addition to my already existing diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes. Due to the rapid decline in my health, I am no longer able to hold a job as a counselor. I don’t understand why this happened, however, I remain a firm believer in God’s greater plan. I was once only an advocate for my client’s with disabilities, but now, I am a proud member and activist of the disabled community. With that being said, I feel that if I hadn’t been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, I would not understand the importance of kindness, unconditional positive regard, acceptance, and faith.
