Before my feet even hit the floor, my mind was already listing excuses. Skip the gym. Rest another day. Start tomorrow. But tomorrow builds more regret than champions ever do. So I went anyway. For 50 minutes I fought comfort with leg presses, squats, and jump squats, pushing through rep after rep until my legs shook and finally went numb. People think discipline is punishment. It isn’t. It’s refusing to let weakness make your decisions. The line that carried me through every set was simple: “I will have no mercy on weakness. Especially my own.” Not because I hate who I am, but because I refuse to become less than what I’m capable of. Every time we choose comfort, weakness gains ground. Every time we choose the harder path, character grows. Today wasn’t about building stronger legs. It was about becoming the kind of person who doesn’t negotiate with the voice that says, quit.
