Active Violence Immediate Response Training (AVIRT)

Linden Sportsmen Club (LSC) and Jacobson Training And Consulting (JTC) are collaborating to offer HSI's AVIRT program to club members and the public.
This program provides a blended online and classroom training experience, enabling participants to practice critical skills such as wound packing, tourniquet application, and attacker threshold disarming techniques.

Sunday November 2nd is the final day for Sight -in-Days at teh club come on out between 9 and 4 and sight in your deer rifle or pistol. 10.00 for non-members.

Jacobson Training And Consulting LLC (JTC) sincerely appreciates the Linden Sportsmen Club (LSC) for sponsoring the Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) class on Saturday, March 29th.
Participants engaged in hands-on exercises, including wound packing, tourniquet application, and firearm disarming techniques, while also practicing responses to active shooter scenarios. Approximately half of the class was dedicated to hands-on training, complemented by instructor-led discussions on situational awareness, concealment, cover, and initial care.
Building on this momentum, JTC and LSC are excited to introduce a new class, “Situational Awareness,” at the Club on June 28th. This session will take a deeper dive into recognizing behaviors and pre-event indicators to enhance personal safety and remain "left of bang."

Today and tomorrow we are working on shoring up 100 yard rifle range back and side berm. We could use some help if you are available. This will be a very physical job up and down the berms and moving trees and logs.
