❤️ From Reading Hearts to Raising Heart Rates ❤️
Looking at this picture from 2009 brings back so many memories. I was in medical assistant school, and I was one of the top students in my class. I graduated as a Medical Assistant and then took the NHA (National Healthcareer Association) certification exam, passing with a very high score.
My favorite subject was EKG — electrocardiography. I loved learning how to read the heart, monitor heart rhythms, and take care of something so essential: the human heart. ❤️
Funny enough, I never ended up working in a hospital or building my career around EKGs. Life took me in a different direction — fitness.
But looking back, I realize I never really left what I learned behind.
Today, I still take care of people’s hearts… just in a different way. 🫀🔥
Instead of placing EKG leads on someone’s chest, I help people raise their heart rate, get stronger, move better, and improve their cardiovascular health through my classes.
I may not have spent my career inside a hospital, but I found my own way to keep doing what I love:
Taking care of hearts.
One heartbeat, one workout, one person at a time. ❤️🔥
Sometimes your path doesn’t look the way you imagined — but the things you learned along the way still find a way to become part of your purpose.
2009 → Medical Assistant
Today → Fitness Instructor
Still caring for hearts. ❤️
