Girls got after it today! Point game goes into bonus rounds, where Alexandria (MVP) leads her team to victory, 36-34. These girls will compete at ANYTHING!

Day started going 2-1 in pool play. Hot early and then the afternoon game put us in a coma. 8 unearned runs in a loss. Opponent jumped on us and kicked us while we were down, which fired the girls and parents up. We had a good feeling about bracket play with that energy.

Had a couple pitchers absolutely dominate the quarters and semis. Landed us in the championship against an undefeated team, that only gave up 2 runs in their first 5 games, with a 37-13 record on the year.

Jumped on them early with 3 in the first and never looked back. The hits were timely and the defense was the best we’ve played on that side of the ball this season. Starting pitcher was on fire, and our closer came in and finished the deal. 5-2 was the final. Champions! Happy Mother’s Day!

Team batted .340 on the day and 4 pitchers combined for an ERA under 1.00 … Dominance!
