Let’s hear it for Nick Favato, named the Player of the Tournament for his massive performance in the U16 State Championship tournament! 🏆💪

Nick was an absolute force on the pitch all day long, setting the tone with his powerful running and relentless work rate. He came up huge when it mattered most, crossing the line for two big tries in our critical clash against a tough Morris squad.

Big-time players step up in big-time games, and Nick did exactly that to help anchor the team’s championship run.

Huge congratulations to CBA Rugby’s own Donato Blasucci for being named one of the Top 14 “Most Positive Athletes” in the entire state of New Jersey! 🏆🦅

Out of over 15,000 nominations nationwide, Donato was selected for this prestigious honor by the Positive Athlete Organization. To put that in perspective, less than 3% of nominees across the country receive any form of recognition.

Today, the Christian Brothers Academy Rugby program pauses to honor, remember, and pray for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

As Brothers, we are deeply rooted in the values of faith, service, and community. In our sport, we talk constantly about the importance of selflessness, accountability, and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the person next to you. Today, we reflect on those who lived out those virtues to the highest degree, putting country and community before self.

We offer our deepest gratitude and prayers to the families of our fallen heroes, and we stand in solidarity with the CBA alumni, veterans, and active-duty service members who continue to protect our freedom.

As you spend today with family, friends, and teammates, please join us in keeping the memory of our nation’s heroes close to heart.
