This sticker is one of my favorite photos of little Bea and my lesson mare Apple - photo taken about 17 years ago / MRF was about 4 years old then and I was busy every afternoon teaching kids, running Horses & Art camps in the summers and organizing Horsie Movie Nights on the weekends and my slogan that accompanied this photo was :
BUILD CONFIDENCE WITH HORSES
That’s a what Ive always believed in / I had 3 reliable mounts a mini and a enormous gentle Dressage horse for the more advanced riders (and Bea eventually graduated to riding him) - it was my horses that built confidence - Lucky and Apple then Pedro tested them a bit as he was the slightly cheeky one. But my job was to make sure the kids learned proper skills and listened to their horses, I believe that riding is a two way street and since starting the positive reinforcement training incorporating it into the program things started to evolve and now my slogan is BUILD CONFIDENCE IN YOU AND IN YOUR HORSE !!! 🩵
