I want to congratulate our SC Badtkatz 02 team for a great tournament this past weekend in Summerville. We played 6 straight, back to back games with the longest break being 30 minutes. Our day started at 9:10am and ended at 6:30pm. Our girls posted a 4-2 record and finished 4th. Our last game was a great one, ending in a 0-0 tie. We ended up losing 1-0 in the International Tie Breaker to the team that finished 2nd overall. What a great game. Our ladies were exhausted, but never gave up. I couldn't be more proud of them!

A special thanks goes to Eric Ackerman and Alexis Ortiz (and we can't forget April) for joining us and helping our girls see what can be accomplished with hard work. I was inspired and I hope they were too!

Now, let's work hard and get better every day!!

If you have a daughter in the Bluffton, Ridgeland and surrounding areas who wants to play fastpitch travel softball:

The 10U & 12U SC BADKATZ fastpitch softball teams will hold tryouts at Volunteer Park Ridgeland, SC Tomorrow, January 26th at 2pm.

We are looking for dedicated ball players for the 2014 season. We look to provide an environment in which young ladies can develop the skills they will need to play at the high school and college level. If you are looking for a great softball program, we would love to see your athlete at our tryouts. Positions are limited.

Years of birth should be from 2001-2002 12U and 2003-2004 10U.
