Mommy & Me’s have become such a highlight in my week,
I’m so in awe of the Lord for His intentionality in bringing us together.
For the women who feel at home and encouraged in this space, we have opportunity to grow closer every week or multiple times a month depending on peoples’ schedules.
And with that kind of consistency, we really do get to know the deeper versions of each other.
We see the days when we’re feeling strong, weak, or just tired.
When our kids behave and listen, and when they don’t.
Immersed in a slice of each other’s lives.
Sometimes messy. Imperfect. Real.
At the beginning of class we always take a moment to release expectations of ourselves and our children, and the Lord has continued to show me that in day-to-day life since we started hosting them.
We get practice every time to release expectations and choose to be present and available for Him to lead through whatever comes next.
I love this second picture, hearing and being a part of the connection taking place.
In pursuit of Jesus and building friendship is a great gift, especially with women who are in a similar stage of life that you are!
