We are SO proud to share that longtime NSPA student Savannah Bevins has been accepted into the highly selective Contemporary Dance High School Program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, UNCSA!
After 11 years of training at Nebraska School of Performing Arts, Savannah is taking this incredible next step in her dance journey. She officially moved to North Carolina this week and has begun her junior year at UNCSA!
“Savannah has continuously worked and trained to reach her fullest potential. She is always inquiring and asking for more challenges to better herself," says Emily, NSPA Owner & Artistic Director.
Savannah shares "I am excited for the new experiences and knowledge that I will gain these next two years as well as collaborating with other artists to create! I’m excited to learn new modern techniques such as Cunningham, Limón, and Graham. I’m also excited to explore new choreography techniques and to be able to create pieces of my own. I can’t wait to work with new choreographers as well as ones I’ve been working with over the summer. NSPA has given me everything I need to pursue my dreams. From life lessons to creative expression, I can continue my dance journey with confidence. I have also made memories that I will forever carry with me!"
We are incredibly proud of Savannah and all the hard work that brought her here. We can’t wait to watch her continue to grow, create, and chase her dreams! ✨
