Sensei Wilson began his martial arts career in 1979 studying GoJu-Ryu Karate, Kabudo, Aikido, Jujutsu and Judo under Shihan John Roseberry. While attending the University of Nebraska in the late 80’s, Sensei Wilson taught self-defense to Marine and Navy Officer Midshipmen. In 1988, Sensei Wilson began training with Sabum Mike Farrer, a former Junior Olympic champion in Taekwondo. In 1991, Sensei
Wilson began instruction in Kendo under Sensei Richard Schmidt at the University of Nebraska. After relocating to Phoenix, AZ, in 1995, Sensei Wilson became an instructor in Kenpo under Grandmaster George Lim. Currently, Sensei Wilson resides in Lincoln, NE and has starting teaching once again, combining his martial arts knowledge into a new style called Te Bu Ryu (The Martial Style of Hand to Hand Defense). In addition to Sensei Wilson martial arts background, he has 24 years of military experience and is currently serving as an Army Military Intelligence officer specializing in Anti-Terrorism. He also has a BFA from the University of Nebraska and is finishing up with a MS in Military History from American Military University.
