As ANYONE knows coming in and out of the studio……the front door is a challenge to say the least😳. These dad’s didn’t plan on trying to figure out a plan Tuesday night, and they definitely didn’t plan on dressing alike 🤷‍♀️😊, but they worked on it for quite a while and at least got it more usable for us!!!🥰

Our final “Meet The Staff” is……me🤷‍♀️

AUDRA TURLEY (Owner/Instructor)

This season will mark my 31st year of sole ownership of the studio and my 38th as an instructor. I started dancing at the age of 3 and have been blessed to turn my love of dance into a career. I am a Master Graduate of Dance Educators of America.
I reside in Lincoln with my husband Brian and we have one daughter Faith who is a high school teacher in Wisconsin.
When not at the studio I enjoy time with family & friends.

We are ready to see everyone for our fall season starting tomorrow!!!

‼️Please make sure you are checking for emails from the studio and making sure you receive them. One has been sent out with our first newsletter of the season.

‼️Take a first day of dance pic (yep, even you older dancers😉) at our logo wall and tag the studio this week.

‼️The first tuition payment will be due the first class this month (August) but that payment covers August and September😊. After that, payment is due the first of the month or the first class of the month. Sorry for any confusion on that!!

‼️We will be posting a studio store soon for you to purchase Audra’s Studio of Dance merchandise so keep watching for that post☺️

‼️I feel like I need to make a personal disclaimer🤷‍♀️. My knee replacement surgery recovery is going well, but I definitely won’t be doing a jig, or many dance steps, for a little while yet😞. I have amazing assistants to demonstrate in many of the classes and in my older classes I know they will tolerate me as I explain and SLOWLY demonstrate😉. Thank you all for understanding!!

‼️Our biggest goals for every dancer this season is to learn a lot, make new friends, and HAVE FUN!!! We are so excited to welcome everyone back🥰

“Meet The Staff”

BRANDE McCREE (Instructor)

Brande is entering her 24th season teaching at the studio and has been dancing since she was 4 years old. She coached the Lincoln Railette Dance team for 10 years, coming out of retirement this year to coach again alongside fellow instructor, Claire Stanfield. Outside of dance, Brande is a Senior Branch Office Administrator for Sal Pollice - Edward Jones, and is currently studying to become an Associate Financial Advisor. She lives in Atlanta with her husband Patrick & daughter Emmylou. In her spare time Brande enjoys spending time with friends & family, concerts and going on Disney trips.

“Meet The Staff” continues today

HOPE DUFFEY (Instructor)

Hope has been part of the studio family for most of her life! She took her first dance class here at just four years old and went on to dance with the studio’s competition team as well as the LCHS Railette Dance Team. At 15, she began assisting Audra and Brande and continued until graduating from high school.

After some time away, Hope found her way back to the studio and has now been teaching for 10 years. She loves getting to share a place that was such a big part of her own childhood with a new generation of dancers. Even more special, her daughter, Avery, has now been dancing at the studio for four years, making dance a true family tradition.

Outside of the studio, Hope has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Illinois State University and works as a Client Services Manager at Afni, where she has been for 15 years. She also teaches group fitness classes through the Lincoln Park District. When she isn’t working or teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brandon, and Avery.

CLAIRE STANFIELD (Instructor)

I have been dancing at the studio since the age of 3. While at the studio I was a member of the Senior Competition Team and Flying Feet Clogging Team. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2022 with a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology. Along with being a speech pathologist, I am also a co-coach for the LCHS Railette Dance Team this year. I reside in Lincoln with my husband Lance.

Hi, my name is Sarah Dahmm and this is my second year teaching! I am currently going to Illinois State University and I am majoring in Dance Education. I am excited for this upcoming year and cannot wait to get back into the studio with my family ❤️
