10th Annual Sunfish Regatta coming up September 19th and 20th.

You’re invited to the 10th Annual LSC Nebraska Sunfish Open Regatta on September 19-20, 2026. Hosted by Sunfish Fleet #706 and the Lincoln Sailing Club.

The event venue is Branched Oak Lake, northwest of Lincoln, Nebraska-- one of the best sailing lakes in the area. All Sunfish sailors are welcome and will be organized into three fleets upon registration: “A fleet” for advanced and intermediate sailors, “B fleet” for novices, and Juniors (18 years old or younger).

60th Annual LSC Commodore’s Cup
Labor Day Weekend - Saturday & Sunday September 5-6, 2026

Dear Sailors,

Please join us to celebrate 60 years of Commodore's Cup! This is the most important event of our Club where we all get together to sail, compete, eat and have fun while celebrating 60 years of seamanship, camaraderie, friendship and history of this event.

This year, we are combining it with the Poker Run and we are introducing the first Commodore's Cupcake Competition! Bring your best homemade dessert item (cake, pie, cookies, etc.) to compete for a new trophy.

Dear LSC members and friends

Lincoln Sailing Club will organize again a Junior Sailing/Racing Clinic in the summer for Juniors 13-18 years old interested in learning how to sail and race one-design Snipe and Sunfish sailboats. The goal is to develop Junior Sailors that can participate in LSC sponsor events, race competitively in out of state Regattas, join Sailing Teams/Clubs in College or just keep sailing wherever life takes them!

Schedule:
-Day 1: Sunday May 31st, 10 am-1 pm. Introduction to Sailing and Snipe Racing
-Day 2: Sunday June 21st, 10 am-1 pm. Snipe Racing
-Day 3: Saturday August 1st, 3-5 pm. Sunfish Racing
-Day 4: Saturday August 15th, 1-5 pm: Sunfish Racing

LSC sponsored events where Juniors compete include:
-Fire on the Water Snipe Regatta (June)
-Cornhusker State Games (July)
-Nebraska Sunfish Regatta (September)

Space is limited to 7-10 Juniors, registration is open to all Juniors (see link below) but preference will be given to Junior members.
