SCHEELS is proud to display the POW/MIA Missing Man Table.
The table is round - to show our everlasting concern.
The tablecloth is white, symbolizing the purity of their motives when answering the call to serve.
The single red rose reminds us of the lives of these Americans....and the loved ones and friends who keep the faith, awaiting answers.
The yellow ribbon symbolizes our continued uncertainty, hope for their return and determination to account for them.
A slice of lemon reminds us of their bitter fate, captured or missing in a foreign land.
A pinch of salt symbolizes the tears of our missing and their families.
The lighted candle reflects our hope for their return.
The bound text is a book of faith to represent the strength gained through devotion to sustain those lost from our country.
The glasses are inverted - to symbolize their inability to share a toast.
The chair is empty - they are missing.

🧶 Bethanie | With SCHEELS since July 2023

Why she loves SCHEELS: "The people and the family-like culture."

Off the clock: When she’s not helping customers find their passion, she’s crocheting (her specialty: handmade stuffed animals!).

The journey: Started part-time during college after hearing SCHEELS was the best place in town to work—and never looked back!

Why she loves SCHEELS: "All my amazing coworkers I get to work with every single day."

Off the clock: Cheering on the Huskers, blasting country music at concerts, taking road trips with friends, and marathon-watching Marvel movies.

⛳ Brent | With SCHEELS since August 2018

The journey: Joined the team to get through his college years, stepped into a full-time role right at graduation, and has been a staple of our store ever since!

Why he loves SCHEELS: "The people."

Off the clock: Living out his own passions on the golf course or carving up the ski slopes.

Next time you stop by to gear up, be sure to give Bethanie, Gracie, and Brent a high five or a handshake. Drop some well-deserved congrats for them in the comments below! 👇💙
