Having kids isn’t easy, parenting is a challenge, but giving them a good life regardless is not a question here.

For us, that looks like week nights at gymnastics and weekends at the track. Sprinkle in a pool day, time with friends, and table games here and there.

What a great weekend, and it’s not over yet! Labor Day Roosfest finishes for the Bennett family today:

Felix - 50cc open took 4th
65cc open took 5th

Mom took home 2nd in the women’s class 😜

I definitely surprised myself from the first moto to the second. This was my first race ever on an mx track! Sorry Cody Bennett, you lit the fire now. 🤣

Now to get some more practice in tomorrow!!!

I was so afraid that it would take months…or even years to gain some strength back after minimal lifting over the past year. I almost gave up on the idea of lifting weights ever again. 😢

I’ve showed up for myself over the last 3 weeks and I can already feel a huge difference in my abilities. I’m looking forward to feeling capable again.

Here’s your reminder that it’s never too late to start again. 🥹
