A popular Central Illinois television personality is the newest full time addition to the Lincoln College faculty. Jesse Guinn, formerly a meteorologist and reporter at WEEK TV in Peoria, will be an Instructor of Communication, beginning in August.
"Jesse taught for our program part time during this past academic year, and he did a tremendous job," said Dr. John Malone, Division Chair for Fine Arts and Communication. "His departure from WEEK created an opportunity for us to gain another quality instructor who is well-respected by our students and colleagues. He is a perfect fit."
Guinn joins Malone, who also serves as Lead Faculty for the Radio Television and New Media program, and acclaimed long-time videographer and producer Bud Broyles to comprise a program faculty and staff with a combined 80-plus years of professional experience in audio and video media.
"I am incredibly excited for the coming year. We have an unbeatable combination of instructors to work with an incredibly-talented pool of award winning students and promising incoming freshmen," Malone said.
Classes for the fall semester begin on August 16. Plenty of time remains to apply. Talent based scholarships are available. For more information, contact Dr. John Malone at [email protected].
