Today was another special event for our Lady Lynx family! 🏀❤️

We were honored to be invited to 49 Maine to enjoy lunch and celebrate all things girls basketball right here in our Lincoln community. From our 5–6 travel teams to MJHS A/B squads, all the way up to our Lady Lynx — it was amazing to see current and future players together, recognizing the incredible seasons at every level.

The heartbeat of girls basketball in our community is strong, and it’s beating louder than ever!

A huge thank you to Brad Libby and the entire 49 Maine crew for hosting such a wonderful event, and to everyone who helped organize this special day. We are so grateful for the support that makes moments like this possible.

Today was a truly special day for our State Champion Lady Lynx ❤️🏀

Our team had the incredible honor of being recognized and applauded on the floor of both the Maine Senate Chamber and the House of Representatives. To see these amazing young women celebrated at the State House was something we’ll never forget.

We are so grateful to Senator Mike Tipping and Representative Irene Gifford for the invitation and for making this experience possible. The Lady Lynx were met with congratulations and support throughout the entire day — a reflection of just how proud so many are of what they’ve accomplished.

Moments like these go far beyond basketball. They’re about community, pride, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

🏀 Lady Lynx Nation — Champions need Championship Keepsakes 🏆

Four weeks ago, our Mattanawcook Academy Lady Lynx made history, capturing the program’s first-ever State Championship. Since that unforgettable moment, the outpouring of love and support—from family, friends, and fans near and far—has been nothing short of incredible.

We are working to make this achievement as meaningful and lasting as possible for these deserving players. To celebrate, we’re ordering State Championship rings—timeless keepsakes that will forever serve as a portal back to this special season. Custom jackets are also on the way, giving our players something they can wear with pride for years to come.
Each championship ring costs $225, and support from local businesses and individual sponsors will go a long way in helping defer the overall cost of these special items for our program. We’ve already had several individuals and businesses reach out asking how they can help.
If you are interested in sponsoring a ring—or contributing any amount, big or small—it would be greatly appreciated.

These athletes have represented our school and community with pride, and we would love to celebrate them with this lasting symbol of their incredible accomplishment.

The celebrations continue for our beloved Lady Lynx! ❤️🏀

We are incredibly proud to recognize our Lady Lynx who earned Penobscot Valley Conference All-Academic honors — an achievement that requires a 90 GPA or higher. Excelling in the classroom while competing at a high level on the court is no small feat, and these student-athletes represent the very best of what it means to be a Lady Lynx.

Last night’s Senior PVC All-Star Game was everything it should be — fun, competitive, and full of smiles!
🏀⛹️‍♀️👏

There’s just something special about watching these seniors take the floor together one more time… playing the game they love, smiling, competing, and soaking it all in.

Between games, the All-Conference selections were recognized — and we couldn’t be more proud of our Lady Lynx who earned those honors. Your hard work, commitment, and heart never go unnoticed. You represent our program with class every single day.
