We live in an extremely materialistic world. It is very easy to get swept up into having “ things” and “possessions”. Not that having such things is a bad thing, but if I asked you to think of something that brought you Joy or happiness would it be a thing or an object? Or would it be a Moment in time? My answer to my own question is Moments in time. My Joy arises from moments in time with those I love. Moments in time where I learn and grow. That’s where my joy comes from. Where does your Joy come from. I wish you all a wonderful Moment today and every day!!

Finding the right Yoga class for you can be confusing and difficult. I have had people say to me “ I’d love to do Yoga with you but I’m not as strong as you I can’t do plank or that chutturunga thing! Sometimes they say they are so uncomfortable in downward facing dog that they don’t want to take another Yoga class. And some say that like Goldilocks they can’t find the class that’s “just right” for their level of experience. They don’t want to sit still and chant Om but they are just not up to full Sun Salutations with lots of down dogs and chutturungas. If this is you I have the perfect class for you. It is my “Slow Flow Yoga” on Friday mornings at 9:30am EST. You can take class from anywhere you’d like because I teach it on Zoom. And if the time doesn’t work for you just register for class and let me know that you would like the recording and I will email you the recorded class. This class moves, stretches, strengthens, balances challenges you and relaxes you all at the same time. I know that sounds like a big task but it’s really not. So if you’ve taken a regular Vinyasa class and it has been a bit above your skill level with down dogs and chutturungas this class is perfect for you we don’t do them! You will still@move stretch and transition from poses fluidly. This class is great for all levels all ages and all physical conditions. Just an FYI there are participants in this class with replaced joints. (Not due to this class!! Studies show that people with a consistent Yoga practice report better physical and mental health. Researchers think that this is because of the effects Yoga has in the Vagus Nerve. (The 10th cranial nerve which is the longest of the autonomic nervous system that is responsible for the body’s unconscious functioning) So why not give Yoga a try….. what do you have to lose except for your bad mood and your hump day slump??
