This post is about my last two tournaments that I kinda have forgotten to post about😅 so I will try and keep it somewhat short.
Two weeks ago I played in the Maine State Championship. This is the biggest tournament in Maine every year and I was very happy to get a spot this year. I started off with a pretty bad first round, not the good of a second round, and finished very strong in the third round shooting the hot round in my division! I managed to finish in a tie for 2nd out of 48.
Last weekend I played a tournament in Vermont and man was it fun! I got to play at Smugglers Notch resort which is home to the 7th and 8th best disc golf courses in the world. But coolest part about that tournament was that we got to play along the pro tour, so I got to watch and see all of the top disc golfers in the world. My favorite part of the weekend was getting to play a round with touring pro Raven Newsom! Was so cool to play and talk with him. Play wise, I played very good the first round shooting my second best round all year, the second round was not very good, I just made some pretty dumb mistakes down the stretch and couldn’t make it happen, but overall second isn’t bad.

This past weekend I played my second A-tier of the year at Maple Hill Disc Golf and was able to average my best ever rated tournament and take it down!! Super happy with how I played all weekend let’s hope I can keep this momentum going into Maine states this weekend.

I played a tournament this past Sunday at my home course Woodland Valley Disc Golf and took down the win in MA1!! Let’s hope I can keep playing well and keep things going for some big tournaments next month.

Played a C-tier here at Dragan Field Disc Golf today and was able to play two very good rounds and take home the win!!
This is my first ever win in MA1 so hopefully this will give me some momentum moving forward for some bigger tournaments in the next few months.

Junior Worlds recap!!
Top 15 at my first ever major!!
As a whole, I’m happy with my performance I just wish I had a better finish. I was one of the youngest players in the division so getting top 15 this early makes me excited for the years to come!
I had so much fun here in Emporia!! They made this event so fun for everyone playing, I will definitely try be back next year for Junior worlds in Pennsylvania!!
I got to do so many fun things while I was here, like meeting so many nice people and competitors, playing all the super fun courses, seeing a herd of bison, playing disc golf in ESU stadium, making lead card and getting posted on YouTube, getting to see the inside of the dynamic discs headquarters, and doing a bunch of fun events.

Round four in the books!!
Forgot to update yesterday about round three. I played pretty good in round three shooting -7 at champs again and that put me in a tied for 6th going onto today. Today was rough.
The basket felt like it had a force field on it😂 I could not put the disc in the basket. I very easily could’ve been -6 if I putted better, but there’s nothing I can do about it now just have to move on to tomorrow. I’m very excited and happy that I made the finals!! Looking to finish strong, the lead is out of reach which I’m ok with.

That’s round 2 of Junior worlds in the books.
Today was definitely a new and interesting experience, this was my first time ever being filmed by a big disc golf company and it was fun. I stayed focused and didn’t let it get in my head so I didn’t notice too much. Overall I didn’t play my best but I didn’t take myself out of contention so that is a plus! We play at the course I played the first round so I know I can shoot well.

Well round 1 is in the books and you could say I played ok 😂
I told myself going into this to have low expectations, and whatever happens happens. Just have fun. I played the best I’ve ever played in a tournament and I’m excited for tomorrow. Again low expectations, just have fun and enjoy my time here in Emporia. I will be filmed by the PDGA and put on their YouTube channel. I don’t know when it will be out.

I’m so excited to announce that I will be playing in the 2025 Junior Disc Golf World Championship in Emporia Kansas. This is easily the biggest event of my career so far and I’m very excited!

This past weekend I competed in the Circle 1 Maine Classic. This is one of the biggest tournaments in Maine every year. Going into it I had kinda high expectations because I played very well in it last year. I played two rounds on Friday, and played pretty good both rounds. I put myself in third and only three back of the lead. Then Saturday came. The weather was definitely not ideal, and I played pretty bad, shooting one of my worst tournament rounds of the year. But I kept myself in contention and Sunday we played one of the hardest courses in Maine so anything could have happened. Sunday was rough. If you are slightly off on some of your drives you will get punished, which is exactly what happened, I was just slightly off. But I finished tied for 6th out of forty. I was also the youngest out of my division. So overall not bad.

So this past weekend me my mom and Lila went to Vermont on a camping/disc golf trip. It was interesting to say the least, whether it be getting to the campsite at 12:30 Am Saturday to find out they had no water or electricity for the camper 😂 or the crappy weather, we still had a good time.
But aside from that I played good. The course I played at was super fun and had some awesome views. The first round I got off to a rough start but I finished the round pretty tied for 8th. So going into the last round there wasn’t much pressure on me and I played really good, shooting the second highest rated round of my career. This moved me up by five spots into solo third place in MA1. Thank you to Gateway Disc Sports for continuing to support me.

First tournament of the year overall not bad. This was also my first tournament playing in a better division than last year. Sunday was a cold wet and rainy day which obviously isn’t ideal but I managed to play alright. I was throwing good and putting good, just messing up some simple shots I wish I could get back, but tied for third and I played above my rating so I’m happy!!
