Didn't get any pics at 35 Raceway. Too busy running two classes.

Quick recap: hot laps weren't great. Heat races weren't overly impressive. Was running second on the truck heat race and a lapped truck went from the bottom to the wall as I was lapping him. Terrible to have the entire field get around you this way.

Features: truck feature I started figuring the track out a little bit. Ran on the heels of the 2nd and 3rd place V8 trucks. Just couldn't get around them clean.

Run what you brung feature was another learning experience. I've never been on the track with the SCDRA compacts or any other compacts before. They definitely enter differently and exit turns really wide. I started 6th. Saw carnage and restarts. Avoided most of it. I think I was back to 8th at one point early. Some friends said we were 3 and 4 wide at times. Started to figure it out and moved up to 4th. Could have used 10 more laps. I simply figured it out too late.

Solid night. Raced a new track. Learned some things. Started sloppy and mad at myself. Finished strong.

Congrats to Joey Heyder and Rolly Heyder for winning both features. They both drove the four cylinder 10 truck. Should have been a little closer to push you since nobody else was. Lol. Maybe next time. 😁

Where did the number 17 come from for me? It happened to be the number plate that came on my first dirt bike. Here I am circa 1982 trying to get some air as a 7 year old.

Let avoid getting some air at the track tomorrow. 😁

Opportunity to race a double feature tomorrow at 35 Raceway Park. Truck class racing our four cylinder against the v6 and V8 trucks, and also a "run what ya brung" four cylinder class since the SCDRA four cylinders will be there. What do you think? Throw it back together for one last hoorah?

Race prep music choices were A) The Gospel Plowboys channel or B) whatever this channel is I landed on. 😁

Sounds like another four cylinder truck will be joining me. We will do our best to represent our four cylinder truck friends.

I suppose I should clean the tires and air filter. Our series is done for the year. Need to start prepping for next year sooner or later.

Need to keep the Warriors Way name on your minds. They are now scheduling knife classes online and in house. Fantastic local operation for our veterans, youth, and first responders.

August 29 2026 Millstream Speedway heat race win.

We raced Millstream Speedway tonight in the Dirt Track Truck Series. Won our heat race. Redraw had me starting 5th. Moved up to 4th. Could not reel in the top three. Solid night. Gains were made.

4th place amongst this pack of the guys is a respectable night.
