🥊❤️ In Loving Memory of Christina!
A True Force in the Boxing Community.
Some people come into your life unexpectedly and leave an impact you’ll never forget. Christina was one of those people.
We first met Christina in Toledo at a boxing show. It was 90 degrees outside, everyone was hot, miserable, and just trying to make it through the day. Little did we know, that day we would walk away with a lifelong friend.
We invited her to Denny’s, sat around a table, listened to her story, shared some laughs, and from that moment on, a friendship was born.
Every fight show after that, seeing Christina was something we looked forward to. It was always love. Always a smile. Always that same incredible energy she carried wherever she went.
Christina was the definition of a strong woman. She was powerful, fierce, outspoken, and an absolute force to be reckoned with. But behind all that strength was a woman with an incredible heart who genuinely cared about the people around her.
As a USA Boxing official and coach, she brought fairness, integrity, and passion to the sport. She wasn’t afraid to stand her ground, and she carried herself with a strength that demanded respect.
She represented everything we admire about women in boxing. Strength, courage, compassion, and heart.
The news of her passing has left our hearts heavy. This is a heartbreaking loss, not only for those who knew and loved her personally, but for our entire boxing community.
On behalf of Southside Spartans Boxing Gym, we want to extend our deepest condolences and prayers to Christina’s family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.
We’re grateful that a miserable, 90-degree day in Toledo brought such an amazing woman into our lives.
Rest easy, Christina. 🥊❤️
You were one hell of a woman, and you will never be forgotten.
Once a friend of the Spartans, always family. ❤️🖤
