We want to sincerely thank everyone who came out and supported the Lima Half-Mile this weekend.

Despite forecasts calling for an 80% chance of rain on both race days, we were fortunate to complete the full program each night. To everyone who took the chance, made the trip, and supported the event despite the weather forecast—thank you. Your support means more than you know.

A huge thank you also goes out to our entire staff, officials, volunteers, and track crew. The amount of hard work, dedication, and teamwork that went into making this weekend happen was nothing short of incredible.

Thursday’s amateur event, which we proudly promote alongside Cory Texter Promotions, presented its own challenges. After heavy rain early Thursday morning, the crew worked tirelessly to get the track back into racing condition. Just when it looked like we were in the clear, and we were halfway through the program another storm rolled through and dumped even more rain. Our crew never gave up. After countless hours of track preparation, we were able to complete the entire amateur program. We’d also like to thank Cory Texter Promotions for working alongside us every step of the way and sticking it out through a very long night to make sure the racers got their opportunity to compete.

While we are proud of what our team accomplished, the weekend ended with unimaginable heartbreak.

During Twins Heat Race 2 on Saturday night, a multi-rider accident claimed the life of Dan Bromley. There are no words to express the sadness felt throughout our racing community. Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with Dan’s family, friends, team, and everyone who knew and loved him.

Thursday Amateur Event Information

Attention Amateur Riders, Teams, and Families:

Please review the information below for Thursday's Amateur Event at the Lima Half-Mile.

📍 Pit Entrance / Rider Entry
All amateur participants and teams should enter through Gate 3, located on the back side of the Allen County Fairgrounds off Bowman Road.

🕗 Schedule

Gates Open: 8:00 AM
Practice Begins: 10:00 AM

🎟️ Spectator Admission
If you would like to enter through Gate 1 and watch the amateur races in the main grand stands, admission is $25 per person and gates will open at 10am for this. If you want to come in earlier go to gate 3. 6 years under is free.

🏕️ Camping Information
If you are camping in the pit area and arriving Thursday morning, admission is $25 per person, plus the camping fee of $50 per night. This gets you in for the Amateur event.

If you are staying in the main campground right when you enter through Gate 1 and wish to watch the amateurs you can pay at the end of gate 1.

🚛 Early Load-In
For those arriving for the professional event weekend, early load-in will begin at 5:00 PM Thursday evening.

Also, if you’re racing, you’ll be eligible to purchase one spectator ticket for the pro races at 25 per day. This offer is limited to one $25 ticket per rider, regardless of how many classes you’re entered in.

Mees Promotions will be available at rider sign-up for you to take advantage of this special pricing. Please note that once rider sign-up closes, this offer will no longer be available.
