Wahoo are biting on this moon! Cade got his first one!!! The best of the bite seems a bit deeper out to around 500. The mahi-mahi were biting offshore about 12 to 14 miles. The seaweed seemed to diminish well offshore but has been manageable. This weekend should be good! Good luck out there and get tight!!!

We had a blast today out front fishing aboard the Outpost with Scott, Scotty, John, Cade and Seth. We got jumped by a few mahi schools in 850 and managed a wahoo and king. We caught the wahoo in 505 feet and it was a doubleheader. We also pulled off a nice wahoo first thing in the morning. Fishing seems pretty darn good, so get out there tomorrow and go get ‘em.

Rough seas didn’t stop Leo from catching his first fish on our Mission Fishin outing on Saturday. We had a flock of frigate birds descend upon us in 50 feet of water like a gift from heaven! One of our mates Charlie made a perfect cast with a diamond jig and hooked up this crevalle jack. What a day!!!

A nice wahoo snap after the full moon. Capt. Mark Danley kept this charter aboard the busy for sure! It’s amazing how fish react on and around the full and new moon.
