Another one of our junior members put in the work a few weeks ago at the 2-Day Arris Pizza Summer Showcase (MGA) at River Cut Golf Course.

Day one was a battle — a 77 with a few too many small mistakes creeping in. But day two showed real fight: a 73 with cleaner golf, even if the putts just weren’t dropping. That kind of bounce-back says a lot about mental toughness.

+6 for the tournament and a T8th finish — solid results, but the bigger win is the mindset: taking the lessons, staying hungry, and locking in on getting better every single day.

That’s the Back Nine way. Keep stacking the days.

Big congrats to one of our own on an incredible week at the Bass Pro Shop/Payne Stewart AJGA Junior Championship at Buffalo Ridge!

Rounds of 68 (-3), 67 (-4), and 71 (E) added up to a 7-under total — good enough for a runner-up finish against some serious competition. That’s the kind of consistency that doesn’t happen by accident.

Buffalo Ridge is a bucket-list track, and getting to compete there, meet new faces, and battle down the stretch is exactly the kind of experience that sharpens a competitive golfer. Proud to be part of the journey.

We’re thrilled to welcome Savannah Oesterle and KC Junior Golf to the Back Nine Liberty family! Starting now, Savannah’s Just Fore Fun Lessons bring top-tier junior golf instruction right to our simulators.

Savannah’s got the résumé to back it up — four years of college golf (including a trip to the NAIA National Championship), a stint as a college head coach developing national qualifiers, and years coaching with First Tee of Greater KC and National Golf Club of KC. Now in its third year, KC Junior Golf has found its new home with us.

And she’s not stopping there — KC Women’s Golf launches in August, giving women of every skill level a fun, welcoming space to learn and connect with the game. 🏌️‍♀️
