With the new changes SC made to create constitutional carry for our state,
REMEMBER, you will still need a CWP to carry your weapon into other states while traveling.

The new changes….

Governor McMaster signed into law the Constitutional Carry law (H.3594).

Any adult who can legally own a gun can now carry one openly or concealed in South Carolina with or without a permit.

Some important points to understand are:

* This law is in effect immediately
* It allows anyone18 years of age or older to carry fi****ms
* There are no restrictions on guns inside of vehicles
* Applies to just handguns
* Specific places where guns CANNOT be carried:
Police stations, jails and prisons, an active courtroom, the office or meeting place of the governing body of a county, public school district, municipality or special purpose district,
day care or preschool facilities, hospitals, medical clinics, doctors offices, or any other facilities where medical services or procedures are preformed, federal facilities where the open carry of fi****ms is prohibited, any privately owned facility displaying a placard barring gun owners from entering the building.
