Even though we are talking a week off of practice, that doesn't mean the kids should sit on the couch playing video games all day. I talked to the kids about this last night, and want everyone's help holding them accountable. I want them to do SOMETHING every day. It doesn't have to be grueling, but knock out a mile run, 50 pushup's, a couple minutes of plank/leglifts, get ahold of the neighbor, and bale hay, something to retain what level of physical fitness we have gained in the last few weeks. I would like to avoid starting from scratch. Also don't forget to stay on top of getting physical's. We are approaching that time when no physical=No play.
