Last night was our 9th Annual “JESPY” awards at Jewell, and our very own John Jenkins won the coveted Scholar Athlete award.
We will miss John when he graduates this fall, but we are happy knowing he will be close, starting a graduate program at KU next fall.
Congrats to John, and the nominees and winners of all awards last night.

Day 4 of USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals!
This morning we start off with Senior, Team Captain, .tiny_leandro in the first session. This is Destiny’s fourth and final Nationals and we are excited to get behind her this morning!

In the second session we are stacked with three of our equipped men:
Sophomore in the 110kg equipped division.
Freshman in the 125kg equipped division.
Sophomore in the 140kg equipped division.

Destiny’s session starts at 9:00 am and the men begin at 2:30 pm.

Day 3 and the Cardinals keep on rocking the platforms at USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals!

Today in the first session we have Senior . Hayden will be competing in the equipped 82.5 kg class.

In the second session today we have competing in the equipped 90kg class (though he will be competing raw!).

Day 2 of USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals, and we have 4 Cardinals competing:
Freshman: competing in Session 2. This is Ronnie’s first year with us, and he has already earned himself a full scholarship for next year.

Junior: .lafleur will compete in Session 2 to defend his National Championship from last April!

Senior: Molly joined us from her first-loved-sport of Tennis, and had no problem qualifying for Nationals as powerlifter! She will compete in Session 3!

Senior: will compete in her final year on the team in the 82.5 kg division in Session 3.
