It’s going to be a HUGE weekend at Capitol Federal Sports Complex! ⚾

From May 22 - 25, Liberty will welcome the prestigious KC Sports Memorial Day Super NIT youth baseball tournament to the Sports Complex. This premier event will bring together 300 elite teams competing in the 9U - 14U divisions.

Throughout the weekend, approximately 3,600 players and 1,500 spectators will fill the Complex for an exciting few days of competition!

Teams are traveling to Liberty from nine states, including, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and South Dakota. Making this one of the biggest tournaments of the season!

Speed & Agility is back this summer! 🔥

After the awesome session held in the spring, we’re excited to bring this program back for another round of training and fun. Young athletes will work on footwork, coordination, confidence and overall speed in a program designed to help them move quicker and more efficiently.

The skills learned in this program can transfer to nearly any sport, whether your athlete plays softball, basketball, track, football and more! It’s a great way to prepare for the upcoming season while staying active this summer.

All programs are canceled tonight at the Sports Complex due to power outages and significant storm damage throughout the facility. Players, families and fans will not be able to drive through the Complex due to trees being down. Our staff is working diligently to clean up, repair and restore the Complex as quick as possible.

Tiny Tot T-Ball is also canceled this evening, as staff was notified the fields at Liberty Middle School are not playable at this time.

Due to storm damage, the Sports Complex will be closed today, May 19. There is significant damage throughout the Complex, and the safety is our top priority for all visitors.
