ICON Training offers one hour long gym and field group training sessions led by a qualified coach. ICON’s sessions engage and demand players to work on different movements, skills, and techniques related to the game of soccer. This includes competitive application of these new ideas in game like scenarios to increase understanding and retention. Program will follow a progression to improve decisio
n making and how to execute those decisions on the field. Program will also incorporate activities that develop speed and strength, focusing on muscles and movements used in the game. The gym will include resistance exercises, plyometrics, running for both endurance and speed, and weight training. Other aspects trained at the gym may include reaction timing, muscle elasticity, mental and emotional resilience, etc. Sessions are scheduled by the parent based on their player’s availability throughout the year. ICON Training is offered year round to increase the consistency of your players training and help develop a more well rounded player. You will choose what Coach you’d prefer your player to learn from depending on the session day and time. Depending on each coach’s availability they will offer sessions week to week, and some coaches may have schedules out for months in advance. There are monthly packages and individual prices for sessions depending on what you as the parent want to commit to for your player. Currently our packages are for 4 or 6 sessions a month. After a player has participated in 4 total sessions, or the shortest monthly package - They will receive an ICON Training shirt to wear for future sessions. As we build our player pool, we are looking to grow into travel teams where our most consistent, dedicated, and skilled players take on tournaments nation wide. These events will be partially parent funded, and partially funded by ICON Training. More information to come.
