Ironmills Farm is the work of Alison and her husband Jerry O’Dwyer , both riders, trainers, and overall horse people. Alison has experience in three-day eventing, competing to the FEI CCI*** level and having taken multiple horses to the preliminary level and above. More recently the focus has been on training young horses and developing a small sales program. Having now taken several horses off th

e track and successfully retraining them for new careers this has become a strong passion. Another strength and interest is dressage and flat-work. Alison has earned her USDF Bronze medal after having great results at the Third Level. Now available for lessons; jumping, dressage and unmounted. Also available to assist both buyers and sellers during the equine sales process.

Oktoberfest wrapped up what was the KY show season for 2025. So much has happened since I returned to Lexington this April and I am so excited and motivated for next year.

Flower has been put back to work, this time with the very professional and talented Mary Rose at Dark Horse Training. I am so excited to watch her progress and feeling like a very proud mom. I know she is getting the best education and experience.
