Drought, bed-bugs, moving, trip to california, surgery recovery, tree falling in the backyard, the last few months have been a non-stop roller-coaster to put it politely.
With all of these things happening, to say I have been overwhelmed would be a polite understatement. There’s been no water / very limited time to do anything “fun,” so neither fishing nor working on rods have been an option. Without doing these things, my motivation to post / feeling like I have anything of value to say has been brought to absolute zero. No one needs to hear me p**s and moan about how scary it is being a small-business owner amidst the global insanity occurring, plenty of others doing that.
The shop in the new abode is finally up and running, I’m cranking away on repairs, looking forward to building some xmas rods for folks before we get too close to the holidays. Of course, I hope you all are doing as well as can be, that you’re finding some time to be able to get out and find good conditions for fishing, and that I have the pleasure of building / fixing your rods / taking you on a guided trip real soon!
