Cumberland Hill Swimming Pool & Clubhouse

We are a little over one week away from one of the largest celebrations around! The 4th of July at Cumberland Hill is like no other and we hope to make it bigger and better than ever!

Here are all the details and we hope you will make plans to join next Saturday!

The winner of the VIP Table is Matthew Breswaugh & family! Join next year before May 1st for another chance.

The pool will be open for regular pool hours. There are no guest passes honored due to the celebration. Charter passes will be honored. Most of the parking lot will be closed for a good portion of the day.

Due to family obligations, the snack bar will not be open. As a special treat, Loco Ice will be here with all the cold treats!

As in the past, we will host a potluck style lunch at 12:00. Hamburgers, hot dogs, all the fixings, chips, lemonade and water will be provided. Please bring a side dish to share. Due to the amount of members expected, we would like to limit the side dishes to the cookout sides (potato salad, pasta salad, baked beans, macaroni salad, etc.). Also, if you would like to bring a dessert, simple is best (cookies, brownies). These items can be dropped off a the clubhouse to be kept warm or cold until serving time. Please only bring throw away containers (leave that favorite casserole dish at home). Serving utensils will also be provided so no need to bring those.
**Again, chips will be provided.**

After lunch, let the games begin! Get your teams together for the T-Shirt Relay! Other games include the kiddie Duck Race, Coin Dive, Adult Beverage Dive, and the highlight of the day with the Biggest Splash contest.

As we gather together on this special day, please be considerate of our neighbors and other pool members when parking. Do not block driveways, mailboxes or park on the yellow painted curbs. We also ask that you only take as many chairs as needed and share tables if possible. As always, you are welcome to bring folding chairs.

This day has been a favorite of mine and my family for many years. We hope each and every one of you have a great day of celebration!

We will be hosting the first home swim meet of the season tonight! The pool will close at 4:00 to prepare for the meet. Come up and cheer the Catfish on!

🇺🇸 Celebrate at the pool! 🇺🇸
In just two short weeks, we will gather at Cumberland Hill Pool to celebrate July 4th. We have a unique opportunity to celebrate not only our nation's independence but also the traditions and connections that make our community so special.

This is one of our favorite days of the summer. The pool board is hard at work planning the perfect day. Join us for a full day of patriotic fun, games, great food, and poolside festivities as we honor America's 250 years of history.

We can't wait to celebrate with you at the pool. More details will come out next week.

Rates for your rental will depend on the time and duration of the event. The cost of the rental will be determined and discussed with you by our rental coordinator. Please see the “Clubhouse Rental Agreement” for detailed rates and rental information.

For the enjoyment of all pool members, I would like to remind everyone to become familiar with and follow the stated rules while visiting the pool. The pool rules are displayed on the website and posted at the pool. I am also including a portion of them below.
Please make sure children are supervised at all times. As stated in the rules, children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by a person at least 15 years of age or older. Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children. Lifeguards are authorized to enforce the rules and can remove members from the pool. Pool memberships can be revoked (without refund) for continual issues.
The use of the baby pool should be for children 5 years and younger. This is a safety issue. Children over 5 years old should not be in the baby pool area, not even during breaks.
If you experience issues while at the pool, please notify a lifeguard and/or board member of the issue.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and for helping to ensure everyone has an enjoyable visit to the pool.

This year, faster than ever before, memberships for the 2026 season are SOLD OUT! We thank you for your continued support of Cumberland Hill Pool year after year.

A couple of reminders when visiting the pool:

Please be considerate of our neighbors and do not block driveways or mailboxes when parking. For safety reasons, please do not park on the yellow curbs. Vehicles parked in these areas obstruct the visibility of drivers exiting the parking lot and pose a significant safety hazard.

If you are arriving by golf cart, thank you for helping conserve parking spaces on busy days by parking along the sidewalk. When parking there, please pull as close to the curb as possible to avoid blocking the sidewalk. Additional golf cart parking is also available on the grass in front of the tennis courts.

The Cumberland Hill Catfish are off to a great start! Home meets are just around the corner, so mark your calendars for June 24, July 1, and July 8. On those dates, the pool will close at 4:00 PM for home meets. Join us for a delicious ribeye sandwich and cheer on the Catfish!

Looking ahead, we're already planning for our favorite day of the summer—July 4th! Plan to join us at the pool for a full day of fun, games, great food, and celebration.

Unfortunately, today was the second time this season we were forced to close down the pool due to f***l matter being found in the pool. There has also been f***l matter found on the bathroom floor this season.
Please help us keep the pool and clubhouse areas clean and safe for everyone by making sure children are supervised at all times, wear swim diapers, and take regular restroom breaks, with supervision as needed.

Unfortunately, we will be closed for the remainder of the evening, June 7th, due to f***l matter being found in the pool.

For the health and enjoyment of all guests, please ensure children take regular restroom breaks and wear swim diapers if necessary.
