Arabesque is first and foremost, a school to teach and mentor the aspiring artist, a provider for those seeking Health and Wellness courses, and a social dance studio where dancers can gather and share their knowledge and love of their art. s, Arabesque also provides a number of Health and fitness programs that cater to all ages and fitness levels. Belly-robics, Yoga, and Flow arts are just the beginning. Good afternoon, and happy Friday Sept 4th everyone!

Safiya is feeling the crunch this weekend.

She had hoped to teach class tomorrow morning, however with the Lexington Comic-Con happening today and tomorrow and so much to get ready for it, and a very busy week behind her.
Tomorrow's class will be difficult.

So we are cancelling class for September 5th.

Thursday’s Mood: Soft, Flowing Intention

Join us for an evening of bellydance at Arabesque World Dance tonight — Thursday, September 3rd .

Here’s tonight’s studio schedule:

5:30 PM — Bellydance Flow Class (Silk Veils) ❤
Come ease into the rhythm with soft, flowing veil work.
New students and drop-ins are welcome —this is a perfect time to step into the flow.

6:30 PM — Choreo Refresh
Let’s revisit your favorite pieces, fine-tune the details, and keep the movement feeling fresh.

7:00 PM — Advanced Choreography & Performance Prep (Invitation Only)
For those invited—let’s focus, polish, and prepare for our busy weekend ahead at the Lexington Comicon.

Hello and Happy Wednesday morning 🌞 It is exceptionally hot outside, but don't worry we have Amazing climate control in the studio 😁

Tonight we have our super fun ~ Bellydance Fundamentals Class ~ Our 6 PM class is OPEN for New Students and Drop In Students to come dance with us.

Come on out to the studio and get your dance on, and/or join us for a super relaxing Slow Yoga Flow. Your body will thank you.

Here is tonight's schedule:

~6:00 PM Bellydance Fundamentals Class - Technique & Combos
Egyptian Dance ♥️

~7:30 PM Slow Yoga Flow with Safiya for Beginners and up.
End your Wednesday night with delicious stretches, breathwork, and a slow flow through beginner vinyasas.

Parking is available on the street or in the 60 space parking lot right across from the studio (we share the parking lot with Country Boys Brewing).

Remember....our Wednesday night class has a special running....Bring a Friend for Free!
That means Buy One Class - Get One Class Free.

Sunday birthday vibes at Arabesque!

I loved hosting a fantastic group of young women who decided a dance experience was the perfect way to celebrate! After performing three demo pieces for them, we spent an hour diving into belly dance basics together.

Having that vibrant, young energy in the room was amazing. While it was a special one-time celebration for them, you never know where the music leads—I’d love to see these lovely ladies back on the dance floor somewhere down the line.

Our 6 PM Intro to Bellydance Class is all about learning from the ground up, technique and control, step by step, you can drop in any time —including new students —and you don’t need to sign up and you don’t have to worry about missing a class . Just come dance with us 💃✨

Here is tonight's schedule:
~6:00 PM Intro to Bellydance — technique, combos, and drills so you can really get into the movements, feel the music, and build your confidence.

~7:15 PM Egyptian Bellydance Choreography- Class #4
Inspired by the Awalim of Egypt (the original professional entertainers 😄). It’s packed with fun steps, groove, technique, and a little dance history too.

~8:00 PMChoreo Refresh — to practice what you’ve already learned and keep everything fresh (and fun!) 💗
