The Hearing & Speech Center’s Bookworms Literacy Camp is designed for children in K–2nd grade, using proven strategies to build:
✔️ Reading comprehension
✔️ Phonemic awareness
✔️ Writing skills
✔️ Confidence
Led by trained educators using the Orton-Gillingham approach, this small-group program gives kids the tools they need to succeed.

Is your child a picky eater? Try the “3S” strategy from Melanie Potock:
✔️ Safe – a food they always eat
✔️ Sometimes – a food they occasionally eat
✔️ Someday – a new or not-yet accepted food

Offering all three at mealtime helps reduce pressure and encourages children to explore new foods at their own pace.

💡 Keep portions small to avoid overwhelm—and offer more if they ask! Small changes can make mealtimes more positive for everyone 💙

Today we celebrated the ribbon cutting of our updated potty training bathroom—a space designed to support independence and confidence for our youngest learners 💙
These improvements were made possible thanks to a generous grant from Messer Construction Co.
