We came, we saw, we lost throttle.
Despite some car troubles, our team made history this past weekend by putting points on the board at an Fsae shootout. Big thanks to the guys over at Michelin USA for the invite out, and the teams who made everything possible!

We’re excited to announce that the team will be heading to Michelin Proving Grounds in South Carolina for the Michelin Shootout, a first in team history. Hope to see our other friends and teams there!

The aerodynamics subsystem works to design bodywork that reduces drag and produces downforce. Reducing drag allows the car to cut through the air more efficiently while producing downforce that pushes the car into the ground. These components enable better speed and grip. Being a part of this subsystem involves visualizing how air will flow over various parts of the car and how we can use that flow to improve performance.
