The 2025-2026 Cheer Season is swiftly drawing to a close, and to celebrate, the LHS Cheerleading team wants to express our CRAZY LOVE for all of our loyal and supportive fans!

We have planned a special show of appreciation tonight, during halftime of the Varsity Basketball Game. We invite everyone to stay in the stands and join us as we honor all of you—our favorite fans—who have been the heart and soul of the Minutemen spirit this season! We’ve felt your energy and heard your cheers all year long, and this is our way of saying thank you for making the 25-26 season unforgettable. Come show your Lexington spirit and let us show you some love!

Favorite Lex Leaders Memory As a Cheerleader: When my whole group of girls put their name tags on me.
Favorite Memory as a Lex Leader: When we played duck duck goose and I fell on my butt.
Advice For Junior High/Underclassmen: Have the most fun that you can have, and don’t be afraid to ask your peers to help you!Don’t put so much pressure on yourself, you have so much room to improve, you will only get better with time!,and try to make the best out of your cheerleading years because you will be done in the blink of an eye!

Advice For Junior High/Underclassmen: Have full confidence and make sure you have fun. Also, know that it really is a big change from junior high to high school cheer. Never lose sight of why you are cheering and keep a positive attitude and mindset. Also make sure you are flexible and coachable!
