When we started this program just two seasons ago, we knew we had the heart, but we couldn’t have predicted the sheer speed of our growth. I am bursting with pride to look back at what this "young" program just accomplished.

Another incredible year for Lexington Wrestling!
I couldn't be more proud of this group of young student-athletes who showed up and left it all on the mats this season!

Wrapping up my second year as Head Coach for the Lexington Wrestling Club, I couldn't be more proud of this group. It has been an honor to lead these athletes again, and I’m already looking forward to many more years on the mats with this program.

Every single one of these wrestlers worked incredibly hard this season. The growth I’ve seen—not just in their technique and strength, but in their character and maturity—is exactly why I love coaching.

The season might be over, but next season is right around the corner! I hope to see every one of you back, plus some new faces in the room next season. Thank you all for such a great season filled with so much support, dedication, and amazing memories! You guys make up the perfect wrestling family, and I'm blessed to have been given the opportunity to meet all of you and your children and be able to coach them to my liking with your blessing! Makes me look forward to building this legacy together! Thank you everybody!

I hope to see every single wrestler who paid their dues and was on the team at any point show up to the first annual banquet to be praised for their hard work at practices or tournaments and be given all their awards for being a bulldog wrestler! (Medal, achievement award, T-shirt)

Lexington Wrestling Club went to the Southwest Regionals this weekend and displayed a whole lot of fantastic wrestling! There were some very tough matches and even more learning experiences. Some crazy stories are to be told, that's for sure—starting as early as weigh-ins and lasting until the end with a surprise challenge for second.
​The season is sadly over for some of our wrestlers, but their heart, mind, and determination are stronger than ever!
​We had 13 placers who finished 1st–6th to qualify for the 48th OKWA State Championship this upcoming weekend at the OGE Coliseum!

We took 15 wrestlers to Midwest city to wrestle at Clash of the Titans and these kids were ready for the challenge, with a very outstanding preformance from everybody! We finshed our day leaving with tons of hardware and some good battles to talk about 💪🏼👊🏽

I couldn't be prouder of the heart and grit our team showed this weekend at the OKWA Novice Championship! We took 13 wrestlers into the fire, and every single one of them competed with relentless intensity.
​A massive shoutout to our two state placers who fought their way onto the podium:
• ​🥇 Elias Doty – 1st Place Champion!
• ​🥉 Paul Valezquez – 3rd Place!
​To the rest of the crew: seeing your hard work translate onto the mat is what it’s all about. You made this coaching staff and your families proud. Whether you walked away with a medal or a lesson, you moved the needle forward today.
Now, the work doesn't stop. We’re back in the room this Monday to sharpen up and dial in. Regionals are right around the corner.
