Hi, WRKT fam! I’m Amanda, and I’m thrilled to join the team that has already given so much to me!
By day, I’m an economics educator, course developer, and curriculum writer. My work often takes me across the country, helping teachers and students discover that economics is everywhere. I’m a proud USC grad. Go C***s!
At home, I’m married to my best friend and a mom to two amazing adult kiddos and 14-year-old twin girls. Between softball tournaments and dance competitions, my family spends a lot of time on the road, and I wouldn’t trade a single minute being my girls’ biggest fan.
The WRKT has taught me that carving out a little time for myself each day is one of the best choices I can make. No matter what kind of day I’m having, I leave feeling recharged, focused, and inspired. I hope my girls learn from watching me that self-care builds the strength and confidence to chase what you love and become the best version of yourself. I want every person who takes my class to feel that, too. Whether it’s your first class or your 500th, I’ll be cheering you on!
