We continue to believe that every kid that wants to play should get to play!

We have a bunch of brand new batting helmets for free for any deserving Davidson County youth. All are black in color. These are technically softball helmets, youth size. We have only a handful of "baseball" helmets.

If you have a kid that wants a new helmet, shoot us a message and we will leave one out for you!

We think every kid that wants to play, should get to play!

Community recreational ball is about laying the foundations, learning how to win, learning how to get better from defeat, and learning to be part of a team. And nobody did that better than our friend, Zach Cash. In memory of Zach, we would like to do something that furthered the life that Zach lived. That's why we are sponsoring one softball or baseball registration for a deserving individual for each booster club in Davidson County.

To be considered, please be someone in need of financial support. Send us an email with your name, child's name, what sport they are signing up for and which booster club, and a note about your child, and we will send that booster club a check on your behalf. If there are multiple candidates for the same booster club, we will pick a kid based on the note. We won't publicize a thing, other than that this scholarship for that particular booster club is taken.

We again want to thank the N.C. Youth Outdoor Engagement Commission and KJ Softball Camps LLC for putting on a good show today. And the inflatable bats provided by Stacy Hill, Broker/REALTOR were a major “hit.”

All told, 60 campers showed up today for a day of fun, capped off with pizza from none other than Dusina's Pizza

A reminder about our camp tomorrow!

Kids getting antsy from being stuck inside with this weather all week??? We gotcha covered.

With grant support from N.C. Youth Outdoor Engagement Commission and some help from our sponsor for this event, Stacy Hill, Broker/REALTOR, we intend to put on a good show.

And what is even better, the kids will get to enjoy lunch on our dime, provided by none other than Dusinas Pizza. Free camp and free food??? Don’t blame us when the phone rings busy tomorrow at the area’s best pizza joint and you can’t get your chicken and wings.

Seems like a good time to announce our newest sponsor! Steelman’s Ace Arcadia is having their grand opening right now, and they've helped out at the old ballfield too.

Go check them out. They are locally owned, you can get in and out in just a matter of minutes, and they have just about anything you need to finish the honey do list. That's right, wives send your hubbies out to Ace in Arcadia on HWY 150 and the helpful hardware folks will set him straight.
