5yo | Hunter / Three-Ring Horse | 3’ Green Eligible | Lexington, KY
Charlie is a lovely 16.2hh Irish Sport Horse Gelding with a great brain, lots of experience for his age, and a puppy dog personality.
He has shown through the 1.0m jumpers, including at HITS Chicago, and he has recently stepped into the hunter ring at WEC Ohio, where he has shown through 2’9” and earned ribbons. He remains 3’ Green eligible. Scope to step around 3’6.
Charlie is naturally rhythmic and brave with an attractive jump, lovely expression, and plenty of scope. He is straightforward and comfortable in the hunter ring while having the versatility and education to cross over into the equitation or jumper rings.
He has a solid foundation outside of the hunter ring, including three-day eventing experience. He has had plenty of exposure to travel, atmosphere, and a wide variety of questions without using up his hunter eligibility.
Most importantly, Charlie is kind, personable, and genuinely enjoyable to have in the barn. He loves attention and is the definition of a puppy dog.
Charlie is a great young horse for a professional, junior, or amateur in a program looking for a quality hunter with three-ring versatility and room to develop up the divisions. Owner in need of quick sale, as she is wanting to go out eventing.
