Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope your week is going well so far. At this time, we will not be offering Wednesday night classes. I’m so sorry for any disappointment.
When we began offering Wednesday night classes, I thought it would work out great. Unfortunately, my schedule has since changed. Nights have proven to be much more difficult than I anticipated. I really wanted it to work, but it’s really the wrong time in my life. If you’ve danced with me through the years, you know what faith and family mean to me. Right now, my family needs outweigh my wants. I want to dance with our SKA Family, but I’m afraid it’s something I cannot keep up on a weekly basis. Now fear not, I’m not saying we shall never dance again. You know me better than that. It is my hope to still do events, entertaining and even pop up classes. And I hope to see you then.
I’m sorry to have let you down but I am not sorry that we gave Wednesday nights a chance! It has been a great growing experience. I’ve gotten to meet so many new people by having class on a different night and that is priceless to me! Getting to reunite with old friends has also been such a blessing. You all are the most supportive people anyone could ask for. Teaching you, dancing with you is not only an honor but a humbling blessing. You all have impacted me in more ways than I can ever describe. To say thank you doesn’t encompass the true gratitude and love I have for you but I say thank you anyways.
I also thank Jen and Amanda who make up this SKA Team with me. These women are incredible, smart and talented. I have no idea why they put up with me but I sure am glad they have for all these years. Ladies, I love you so.
And I thank Danyele Gardner of South Carolina Dance Company. She has continuously opened her dance studio to us since 2013. She has provided a home for us and what a beautiful home it has been. Danyele, thank you for your generous hospitality. We love you.
SKA Fam, this is not an end. Rather, time for a new chapter. When? Where? I don’t know. I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I do know WHO holds tomorrow. And honestly, I can’t wait to read the next chapter with all of you.
“She is clothed in strength and dignity. And she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25.
Let’s stay tuned for what the future holds. And if there’s something I can help you with in the mean time, please reach out. Message me here on FB or email [email protected]
All my love,
Stacey Kelly Ashley
