LIE: No pain, no gain
WHY: Teaching women to ignore pain signals is easier for short term financial gain instead of teaching the difference between discomfort, challenge, compensation, and injury, which requires time, effort, and patience from both parties
LIE: Sweat more = better workout
WHY: Convincing women exhaustion is the goal instead of intentional strength progression and proper movement quality which requires time, effort, and patience from both parties
LIE: Earn your food
WHY: Turning exercise into punishment instead of teaching women how to fuel their bodies which requires time, effort, and patience from both parties
LIE: Start over Monday
WHY: This mindset keeps women trapped in shame cycles instead of teaching consistency and sustainability which requires time, effort, and patience from both parties
LIE: Your body is the problem
WHY: When in reality, many women have simply never been educated on stress, recovery, hormones, fueling, muscle, or proper training which requires time, effort, and patience from both parties
LIE: More cardio is the answer
WHY: For many women, chronic under-eating + excessive cardio + high stress is exactly what’s keeping them exhausted, inflamed, and frustrated which requires time, effort, and patience from both parties
What it boils down to **rips off band aid** most fitness facilities exist to make profit. I learned in my 20s how to make women addicted, in need of me, by beating them up and not educating them as I watched them leave me and regain all the weight plus some.
When I opened StrongHER, I decided to play the long game by taking time to teach women the HOW behind nutrition, their bodies, weight lifting, and programming. We exist to rip these lies apart and create a new generation of empowered, educated, healthy women.
