Thursday we had our wrestling banquet and I must say, it was one for the books. We ate, we laughed, I cried 😭, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, I received reassurance from my wrestler's parents that they have my back. I appreciate ALL OF YOU...💯💪🏾‼️

I'm ETERNALLY thankful to my team mom's Ashley Hembree Reynolds and Kaylie D'Eredita for keeping me on track 🚂🫣🥴

A LOT of hardware was given out last night but MOST IMPORTANTLY, The Brandon Proveaux Toughman Award, named after my deceased wrestler, went to "The X-Man" Xzavier Castillo-Kelly 💯💪🏾‼️

I made the rest of wrestling awards for my kids and they thought that was pretty cool.

Oh and...check out T-Rex's shoes 👞🌟💎😬

EXTRA EXTRA - READ ALL ABOUT IT. HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE...🗞📰📚

Freshman Phenom - Tyrone Robinson a.k.a T-Rex 🦖 has done what NO OTHER White Knoll wrestler has been able to do. Last night this young man became the FIRST FRESHMAN wrestler from White Knoll HS to EVER place in the state tournament.

T-Rex placed 4th in the 220 lb. division. He was the ONLY freshman in his bracket. He pinned two seniors along the way including the #3 ranked wrestler in the state in the blood round. That same wrestler pinned him in the 1st tournament of the year.

I'm sooooo VERY PROUD of T-Rex 🦖, Brutus 💪🏾, and Shay 🤼🏾‍♀️

The Boyz from Tha Knoll were in action over the past few days at the Blue Devil Invitional. We walked away with some more hardware to put on the shelf ⚙️🔩🗜🥇🏅

We finished 5th out of 24 teams. Individually, Super Sophomore Dane Dillon a.k.a. Dane Train 🚂, came in as the #4 seed at 106 and pinned the #1 seed in the semi's then pinned the #2 seed in the finals. All in under a minute. 220lb Freshman Phenom Tyrone Robinson a.k.a T-Rex 🦖 took 2nd. Logan Taylor a.k.a. Brutus 💪🏾 took 2nd @ 160. Dawson Prevatte @ 120 and 182 lb Carlos Ponce a.k.a. Los 🇲🇽 both took 4th.

GREAT AFTERNOON FACEBOOK FAMILY.

Today I reached one of the GREATEST accomplishments of my wrestling coaching career. I eclipsed the century mark in dual meet wins at ONE single high school. It's hard to accomplish that at one high school let alone several.

Today we went 2-0 at the Kersey Duals and I got wins #100 and #101 💥

I can't even begin to thank all of my wrestlers,wrestling parents, family, and friends who have helped me reach this milestone over the years. This means the world to me. THANK YOU‼️

Great Evening Facebook Family.

Mr. Coach Emily took 7 wrestlers to the TOUGHEST tournament in South Carolina and one of the NASTIEST tournaments in the entire South Eastern United States - The Southern Slam.

In a regular season tournament that featured 5 different states, ONE team brought SIX Super 32 place winners, nationally ranked kids, Fargo All-Americans, and state champs who didn't place and/or got pinned, we held our own.

When the smoke had cleared, 15 year old Freshman Phenom, Tyrone Robinson (aka T-Rex) entered the tournament with a record of 0-0 @ 220 lbs. and went 4-3 and took 8th place. Not a bad day for the White Knoll Matmen.
