As another unforgettable Lexington Flying Pigs season comes to a close, we simply want to say thank you.
To our incredible sponsors, thank you for believing in our mission and investing in something much bigger than baseball. Your support allows us to create memorable experiences for our players, fans, and community.
To our amazing host families, thank you for opening your homes and your hearts. You gave our players a place to belong, and many lifelong friendships were formed because of your generosity.
To our coaches, thank you for the countless hours, the preparation, the leadership, and the example you set every single day. The impact you make reaches far beyond the baseball field.
To our interns and support staff, thank you for everything you do behind the scenes. From the first person through the gates to the last light turned off at the ballpark, your hard work often goes unseen, but it never goes unappreciated.
To Jordan Chapman, you have been here since Day 1 and not only is your commitment unwavering, you are the biggest cheerleader for the team. Thank you is not enough.
A special thank you to our team chaplain, Chris Elliott. Thank you for pouring into the lives of our players, investing in them spiritually, and reminding us that baseball is about more than what happens between the lines. Seeing eight players publicly profess their faith through baptism this summer is something far greater than any win or championship, and it is a testament to the impact you have made.
To Piggy Smalls, thank you for bringing smiles, laughter, and energy to every game. You have become a fan favorite and an important part of the Flying Pigs experience, helping create memories that families will cherish for years to come.
And to our players, thank you for wearing “Lexington” across your chest with pride. Thank you for your effort, your commitment, and for creating memories that our fans will never forget. We are honored that you chose to spend your summer with us, and we can’t wait to follow your journeys in the years ahead.
The Lexington Flying Pigs have always been about more than wins and losses. We are about building relationships, serving our community, developing young men, and creating an experience that everyone can be proud of. None of that would be possible without each and every one of you.
While this season has come to an end, our work is already beginning for next summer. We are already preparing for another unforgettable season, and as always, our goal is simple: to do better than we did before.
Thank you for being part of the Flying Pigs family. We can’t wait to see you back at the ballpark next summer.
