As we all know, the softball community is closely knit, which means not only does news travel quickly, but it reaches far and affects many. I’m heartbroken to share the tragic and unexpected loss of a parent on our team.

Please pray for our softball family and those affected as they navigate this loss. Please keep them in your hearts and minds as they grieve and move forward through the days ahead.

To anyone reading this that is struggling at all or with anything at any given time, please know that you’re not alone. Coach Clint and I are here if you need anything; whether you’re a player, a parent, a family member, or anyone else within this closely knit community: you have people in your corner that love you and will support you. Please reach out if you need anything, whether it’s now or later. I promise you’ll be heard, comforted, and supported without judgement, and I’ll do what I can to connect you with the support system(s) you may want or need.

Congratulations to George Rogers Clark Lady Cards Softball and Madison Central High School Softball on capturing their 10th and 11th Region Championships and earning the opportunity to represent their regions on softball’s biggest stage as they compete for a KHSAA State Title!

We would like to send a special good luck wish to our fellow Unity players - Karah Clines, Morgan Bennett, Jayda Grigsby, and Jauntele Chenault. We are incredibly proud of all your hard work, dedication, and success this season. Make a STATEment Ladies!

Jayda Grigsby(JaydaG_2029 on x.com) launched her 4TH BOMB OF THE SEASON! 💥🥎

Every single run mattered in Regional tournament play, and Jayda stepped up when her team needed her most. No freebies. No easy moments. Just grit, confidence, and a swing built for pressure situations.

She took the challenge head on and absolutely tried to knock the foul pole over with this one!

Today isn’t just another day off from work. It’s not about the barbecues or backyard parties. It’s about honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for us so we can enjoy those things and more. It’s about remembering the families that were given a folded flag and that spend today and every day mourning the loss of their loved ones. Today isn’t about us, it’s about them.

🚨🟠UNITY AWARD ALERT!🟣🚨

KY Unity 2029-Hinkle would like to congratulate Zoe Brown(Zoe.b011 on Instagram.com) on earning KHSAA District 43 Honorable Mention honors for her school!

This freshman continues to prove she’s one of the hardest workers around. Zoe is a well-rounded athlete who brings effort, grit, and determination every single day. The best part? She’s only scratching the surface of her potential!

Hard work always shows, and we’re excited to see it paying off for this kid. Keep grinding, Zoe! the ceiling is still far ahead!
