Happy Fins Swim School — Summer 2026 Update

Hi, Happy Fins families! I wanted to share some exciting personal news. I recently welcomed a new little one into the family! 🎉
Because of this, I will not be offering swim lessons this summer (2026). I'm taking the season to enjoy this special time with my growing family.
I plan to be back in the water and teaching again in 2027. I can't wait to see everyone then!

I am sad to announce that Happy Fins will not be teaching swim lessons this summer. I wanted to thank all of my clients for your business. I loved teaching your children. Happy Fins Swim School has exciting news! We have a new swim instructor! Mariah Satterfield is a Junior at Highland High School. She took 5 years of swim lessons and has been swimming competitively for four years on both city and high school teams. She went to state on a 4x50 freestyle relay and they placed 7th. She personally placed 4th for the 100m breaststroke and 5th in the 50m freestyle at districts. Mariah has two toddler brothers that she chases around in her spare time. She has a bright smile that welcomes everyone, and we are ecstatic for her to join Happy Fins Swim School!

Happy Fins Swim School is looking for a swim instructor that has experience in swimming and or swim teaching. Ages 17+ Seasonal job June-August. We will work with you to get your certification. We’re looking for somebody that works great with kids, fun, and excited to teach.

Registrations for the 2022 swim season are open!! We begin June 7, and spots are already booking fast. Here is how you can register and get your lessons scheduled:

1. Go to happyfinschool.com/registration and register.
2. We will reach out to you and finalize registration.
3. We will send you to our scheduling system so you can get your lessons planned ahead of time.
4. Have an amazing 2022 with your little swimmers and their confidence in the water!

The time is finally here! Happy Fins Swim School registration opens Tuesday, March 1st! Last year was an incredible experience, I taught over 45 students. The skills ranged from fear of water, teaching the fundamentals of each swim stroke, all the way to improving speed for the swim team. The ages I taught ranged from 8 months to 60 and above. Accomplishing these goals brought light to each student’s life, and mine as well. And I’m thrilled for another year!!

So, here’s what you need to know for Tuesday, March 1st. (in 2 days) If you are ready to sign up for swimming lessons here are a couple ways to do it:

Send me a message on Facebook, text, email, etc that you want to sign up for lessons and how many you want to sign up for. Then pay on Venmo to . I will then send you a link through our new scheduling system (woot woot) to sign up for lessons.

You can go to my website happyfinschool.com/registration and fill out the registration, and I will get back to you to sign you up. Then you can use our scheduling system to find the most convenient time.

For both of these options, we will send you text message reminders the day before each of your lessons!

We are excited for another summer of teaching each of your adorable kids. First day of lessons is June 7th! We're excited to talk to you soon!

The 2021 Season at Happy Fins Swim School is at a close. This summer has blown my expectations. I want to thank all of my clients, friends, and family for all the support for Happy Fins. I love this job, but my favorite part is seeing these children learn how to be safe in the water and see the joys in swimming. Thank you for giving me that opportunity. We will be opening up registration for summer 2022 next March. Have a great Fall!
