t part of what we do at CrossFit 3040 is “constantly varied” workouts. This means that every day brings a different workout (or “WOD”), incorporating any combination of these elements. At CrossFit 3040 everyone will practice technique, lift weights, jump rope, climb, swing kettlebells, work on squats, deadlifts and dips. The culture of our gym is one of encouragement and accountability. Your fellow members work with you to help stay on track with your fitness and CrossFit goals. We believe in the results of CrossFit, and we also believe that you can achieve them!

Due to current and forecasted weather conditions, the gym will close at 4pm today. The 5&6am classes and 7-9am Open Gym for the 24th are cancelled as well. We will update the rest of the schedule for tomorrow at 8am.

Great job to everyone that participated in The Open this year! We saw athletes get their 1st Toes-to-Bar, C2B Pull-Ups, and Bar MU. Others even hit PR's on their Clean & Jerks. You have to love the magic of The Open.

When the dust settled, we had 10 athletes qualify for the Quarterfinals or the Age Group Online Qualifier!

Based on weather and an announcement from Lewisville ISD, the gym will be closed on 2/16. More ice and snow is expected to come in early on the 17th, so stay tuned for further updates.

With the gym being closed because of COVID-19, there is no better time to get some projects done around here. The Wall-Ball and Handstand Push-Up wall was pretty beat up after 7 years of hard use, so today we pulled down the old paneling and drywall. Next step is to put up a fresh and stronger wall.
